The Most Important Ripple (XRP) News This Past Week: July 27
- Ripple Mint allows institutional clients to manage Ripple USD efficiently, reducing manual work for exchanges and payment providers.
- Ripple's investment in Notabene aims to enhance compliance and integrate RLUSD into their payment platform.
- XRP's price volatility highlights key resistance and support levels, crucial for traders to monitor in upcoming sessions.
Ripple and the XRP ecosystem recorded several developments between July 22 and July 27.
Most focused on expanding the company’s stablecoin operations, while XRP’s price gave back its early-week gains.
Ripple Launches Ripple Mint
The company introduced Ripple Mint on July 23. The platform gives institutional clients one place to mint, redeem, bridge, and manage Ripple USD (RLUSD).
Companies can access it through a web interface or connect their systems through APIs and webhook notifications. This should reduce manual work for exchanges, market makers, fintech companies, and payment providers using RLUSD.
Ripple Invests in Notabene
Ripple made a strategic investment in compliance infrastructure provider Notabene.
The companies plan to integrate RLUSD into Notabene Flow, its business-to-business stablecoin payments platform. They will also explore how Notabene’s transaction authorization technology can support Ripple Payments.
Notabene’s network connects more than 2,300 institutions across over 100 jurisdictions. The company said it facilitates more than $2 trillion in annualized transaction volume.
Binance Promotes RLUSD With XRP Rewards
Binance continued promoting its RLUSD rewards campaign, which runs from July 17 to August 14.
Eligible users who hold RLUSD in Binance Earn or Margin accounts can share an $800,000 XRP reward pool.
Binance distributes the rewards weekly, while the platform reported a variable seven-day RLUSD return of 22.25% on July 25. Availability and eligibility depend on the user’s region and account activity.
XRP ETF Inflows Approach $1.5 Billion
US spot XRP ETFs remained close to a major milestone.
SoSoValue data placed cumulative net inflows at approximately $1.49 billion.
However, the products recorded no net inflows on July 22. Their combined assets also remained below cumulative inflows, reflecting XRP’s decline since many investors entered the funds.
XRP Price Gives Back Its Weekly Gains
XRP reached approximately $1.16 earlier in the week but later slipped toward $1.06, leaving it around 7% below its July 22 level.
The rejection keeps the $1.17–$1.20 region as the main resistance area. A decisive break could shift attention toward $1.28. On the downside, traders are watching support around $1.05, followed by the stronger $1.02–$1.04 zone.
XRP’s next move will likely depend on whether buyers can protect this lower support area and challenge the resistance that stopped the latest rebound.
