Crypto.com Expands 24/7 Tokenized Trading to 1,500 US Stocks and ETFs

✶ The Main Takeaways
  • Crypto.com has launched 24/7 trading for 1,500 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs, available to eligible users in the EEA.
  • Users should note that tokenized stocks are derivatives and do not confer ownership or voting rights.
  • The platform is currently offering zero-commission trading for a limited time, though additional fees may apply.

Crypto.com has expanded its tokenized-stock offering to roughly 1,500 U.S. stocks and ETFs, giving eligible users 24/7 access to equity-linked products through the same app used for cryptocurrency trading.

The company said in its announcement that the products are available to eligible users in the European Economic Area and other approved jurisdictions, with positions starting from $1. The initial lineup references companies including Nvidia, Tesla and Apple, alongside ETFs such as SPDR Gold Shares and iShares Silver Trust.

Despite the “tokenized stocks” label, users are not buying the underlying shares. Crypto.com describes the products as derivative financial instruments designed to track their price performance. Holders receive no shareholder ownership or voting rights, although some products may receive contractual dividend-equivalent adjustments. The shares backing the instruments are held with U.S. self-clearing broker-dealer Alpaca.

Crypto.com’s product documentation adds an on-chain component beyond simply extending trading hours. It says the tokens are issued on Cronos EVM and can be withdrawn to the Cronos network, where they may be used as collateral or placed in liquidity pools where supported.

The platform had already introduced tokenized stocks in selected markets in June, advertising round-the-clock trading, instant settlement and 1:1 backing. Wednesday’s announcement specifies the roughly 1,500-product lineup and EEA availability.

The rollout also differs from Coinbase’s recent 24/5 rollout in Britain, which provides conventional brokerage access to nearly 4,000 U.S. stocks rather than tokenized derivatives.

Crypto.com is offering zero-commission tokenized-stock trading for a limited introductory period, though spreads and foreign-exchange charges can still apply. In the EEA, the products are issued by Foris Capital CY Limited, a Cyprus investment firm operating under CySEC license 344/17.
