BlackRock Leads $244M Bitcoin ETF Inflow as Streak Reaches Three Days

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a third consecutive day of inflows as BlackRock’s IBIT attracted more than 80% of the session’s total.

U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds attracted $244.4 million in net inflows on August 5, extending their positive run to three consecutive trading days.

BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) dominated the session with $196.8 million, accounting for more than 80% of the combined total. The latest allocations brought cumulative inflows during the three-day streak to $626 million.

IBIT Dominates the Session

Farside data showed broader, though uneven, participation across the remaining funds.

ARK 21Shares’ ARKB received $37.6 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC and Bitwise’s BITB added $11.3 million and $10.6 million, respectively. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT recorded a smaller $2.8 million inflow.

VanEck’s HODL was the only product to finish in negative territory, posting $14.7 million in net outflows. The remaining funds reported no net movement.

IBIT ended the session with $48.07 billion in net assets, according to BlackRock’s fund page, maintaining a substantial lead over competing U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs.

Three-Day Inflows Reach $626M

The positive streak began with $170.1 million on August 3 before accelerating to $211.5 million the following day.

The combined $626 million inflow more than offset the $265.4 million withdrawn on July 31, when products from BlackRock, Fidelity, Bitwise, ARK 21Shares, and Grayscale all recorded redemptions.

Bitcoin advanced alongside the renewed ETF demand, rising from around $63,473 on August 3 to approximately $64,609 on August 5. The asset traded near $64,500 on Thursday after briefly approaching $65,000.

The inflows coincided with Bitcoin’s recovery and marked three straight sessions of renewed demand through U.S.-listed funds.
